Pontin’s Family Holiday Gift on Sky TV’s Noel’s Christmas Presents
A Pontin’s family holiday in 2009 for a young boy who saved his mother’s life was one of the surprise gifts on Noel Edmonds Christmas Presents shown on Sky TV over the festive period.
Myles (11), the youngest in the family picked up the phone when his mother stopped breathing at a friend’s home and took instructions from the 999 operator which he relayed to his sister, Katrina, who performed CPR on her mum until the ambulance and paramedics arrived. What is really remarkable is that Myles is autistic and normally unable to follow instructions.
Mum, Leza, wanted Myles to be able to holiday with all the family as a thank you for being a hero and they will be visiting Pontin’s in 2009 where Myles and his brothers and sisters can enjoy some of his favourite activities including swimming and go-karting and with some extra special opportunities including “being a bluecoat” for a day.
Noel’s Christmas Presents was shown on Sky TV between 21st and 29th December and on Anytime TV until 30th December 2008.
