Pontin’s Pakefield voted “Best Holiday Village of the year”
Suffolk based, Pontin’s Pakefield Holiday Park, Lowestoft has been voted “Holiday Village of the Year 2009” by the customers of theCOACHHOLIDAY.COM who specialise in coach holidays for individuals and groups throughout the U.K. and the continent.
The award recognised the high standards of customer service and accommodation at the Holiday Park and was presented by theCOACHHOLIDAY.COM founder Mike Merron and Managing Director Luis Arteaga at a glittering ceremony attended by Jackie Taylor, Pontin’s Tours and Travel Manager and Martin Gowler from Pontin’s Pakefield, along with over 200 other guests at the Royal Court Hotel, Coventry on 6th February.
theCOACHHOLIDAY.COM takes over 125,000 guests on holiday and awards are based on surveys of all of their customers over the past year.
Accepting the award, Jackie Taylor, Pontin’s Tours and Travel Trade Manager said, “I am delighted to accept this award on behalf of all the team at Pakefield who work so hard to ensure that your customers receive outstanding service. Pontin’s Pakefield offers outstanding value for money breaks in a beautiful location with plenty of parking which are ideally suited to the coaching market. This year the Coach Holiday.com will be taking guests on four night breaks to Pontin’s Pakefield Holiday Park from April through to December.
Future developments will also see the Holiday Park benefiting from a major investment programme which, subject to planning approval, will double the Park’s capacity and create a natural open seaside feel over 100 acres. The development will include an Ocean Spa complex, leisure golf course, Village Centre entertainment venue, extended leisure pool facility, extended and refurbished night club and theatre/ballroom, sports facilities, bar, restaurant and café.
